Peak: Weird Name
On the first page, Peak writes, "My name is Peak. Yeah, I know: weird name. But you don't get to pick your name of your parents. (Or a lot of things in life for that matter" (pg. 1). If you could have chosen your name at birth, what would you have selected? What kinds of things do you wish you had more control over? Use informal language if you like, but please check your spelling!!!

I really wouldn't change my name- I like it! Infact, I did not want to lose my last name when I got married because I really appreciate the support my parents gave me while growing up. Without them, I would never have survived Teacher's College- that's why it was important to me to keep my last name :-)

I really like my name and if i wanted to change it i would not do so as it is rude to my parents who gave me that name.I Really injoy my name i think that it shows my personality and it is a part of my family that i will always ahve to keep. My name is pretty unique in its own way and i am proud of it.

if i cud pic my name it would be Brooke bc its a cool name and stuff .. idk. & i also wish i had more control over where i go and when i go to places. Like my parents don't let me do ANYTHING and it sucks!!!! ugh that's EXACTLY what i want more control over!

I wouldn't want to choose my own name. It would cause too much stress and complications. There are so many to choose from so it would get really confusing. It's alot easier with your parents chosing your name. I wish I had more control over some things like my age, but thats only sometimes, I would also [WISH] I had more control over my parents. That would really be pushing it but it would be nice.. =]But thats not likely to happen.. @ ALL! :\
Mac says...If I could cang my name I would change it 2 Bob Becaus I allways thought it was a cool name.I wish i could countrol how every one will brag about how good they are when they realy not.
chris says... if i could choose my name at birth i would choose cloud because i lke lying on the grass watching the clouds in my backyard in the summer,and if i could have some power over something it would be my parents because they tell me to do this and that around the house all the time.

If i could have changed my name at birth i think iwould have changed it to Rebecka because it's my middle name and i really like that name. if i cpuld have more control of things i think that i would want control of when we go to school cause i think that we go to school to early and that we don't get enough sleep

If I could have picked my name at birth I would have picked, something like Staci i guess, I would have kept my last name though. I wish that the name Ashley wasn't so common, and this is something that i can not change. I also wish that kids had more say in things, cuz like parents always get to pick what we do..if we can go to a party or whatever.

I don't think I would change my name cause I like it the way it is. My parents got the idea for my name from an actress they liked. I've never been fond of changing things around in my house or anywhere else I am. I won't even let my parents change my room in a different way. It's been the same ever since they redid it, which was when I was around 5 years old.

If i coulve chosen my name it would probably have been Jessica anyways. Ive always liked the name and my parents like it too. If i could've had more control over something in my life it would prbably have been my sisters. I like my sisters most of the time but other times i wish that i couldve had a say at birth. Over all i think that i like my name and my sisters and wouldnt change a thing.

If I had the power 2 change my name I wouldn't because it was the name I was born with and I like it.I think my parents named me Brandon because they liked it alot.I love my name but i don't love it so much that i'd marry it.

I would name myself Mazarack. It is really cool name. I like it.
I like my real name too. But I wished I could go anywere and do anthing I want. I would be champion
